Fall Restaurant List

With the weather turning chilly and the sun setting earlier, outdoor activities are becoming far less attractive. That being said, what better reason than to hole up in one of SF’s many restaurants and test out some of the city’s newest dishes? Here is my list of places I’m hoping dine and drink through over the next few months.

~ La Urbana ~
cantina-style Mexican with the largest mezcal collection in SF

~ TBD ~
AQ’s more casual sister restaurant; opens in November (ish)

~ Maruya ~
home to the Misson’s newest authentic Japanese cuisine

~ Jasper’s Corner Tap & Kitchen’s  ~
their new brunch menu includes chicken fried quail & waffles (w/ orange sea salt butter) and a savory bread pudding – I’ll take one of each please

~ Tosca Café ~
revamped from classic bar to bar-kitchen combo, this Italian influenced spot is now run by NYC’s Spotted Pig co-owners April Bloomfield & Ken Friedman

While I’m sure I’ll be adding at least a couple of those to my core list of go-to spots, let’s not forget some old favorites:

~ State Bird Provisions ~
~ Slanted Door ~
~ Coqueta ~
~ Flour + Water ~
~ NOPA ~
~ Lolinda ~
~ Pisto’s Tacos ~
