Morning Smoothies


After purchasing a much larger replacement blender to my beloved Magic Bullet, I have become nothing but completely obsessed with smoothies.

I’ve never been a huge breakfast person (I adore brunch but my stomach doesn’t really crave much else than coffee in the morning) but I’ve slowly begun to adopt an AM ritual of fruit smoothies. It’s the perfect way to start off the day on the right foot and a great way to get in your daily dose of fruits & veggies…and maybe a little peanut butter too.

~ Berry Banana Spinach Smoothie ~

1 banana
1 cup of frozen mixed berries
1 cup of almond milk
2 handfuls of spinach
Ice Cubes
1 tablespoon of chia seeds – optional

Blend spinach and almond milk until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and mix until texture is thick and creamy.
