SF Decorator Showcase

Every year, San Francisco’s University High School hosts the Decorator Showcase, a showhouse event featuring the work of top interior and landscape designers. The event, which began in 1977, takes place at a different home each year (the addresses are always prestigious and the views, breathtaking) and all proceeds go to support the high school’s financial aid program.

Last year, I volunteered as a docent and fell completely in love with Green Couch Designs – they created my absolute dream kitchen and living room. This year’s home, located on the corner of Pacific and Divisadero, proved to be just as impressive. Complete with a top floor massage lounge, writer’s retreat and chocolatier’s lab, I left feeling very inspired…and only slightly deprived.

Here were some of my favorite spaces and designers:
Master Bathroom ~ Siol Studios, Kevin Hackett and Jessica Weigley
Master Bedroom ~ Bigelow + Silver
Living Room ~ Catherine Kwong (she also designed last year’s office!)
