Pushback Dinner Series

Last Monday, North Beach’s Don Pisto’s restaurant hosted its first ever dinner series: a coming together of several neighborhood chefs and wine makers for an evening of delicious food and great company. Along with Don Pisto’s very own, head chefs from Tony’s Pizza Napoletana, Park Tavern and Firenze By Night collaborated on a joint sashimi appetizer, followed by individual plates of duck, pig, goat and lamb. Each meat was paired with a different wine, donated by local wine makers from Pine & Brown, City Cellars (their Malbec was incredible), Labor and of course, Pushback Wines. The night ended at 15 Romolo, where all guests were served a dessert cocktail and an outrageous piece of chocolate cake.

Have a look at some of the evening’s dishes. Already looking forward to the next dinner series.
